Effective Date: September 8, 2026

At Safar Air Holidays Services Pvt. Ltd., we understand that travel plans may change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the general terms applicable to cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and changes to helicopter and travel bookings.

Because helicopter operations are subject to weather, safety, aviation regulations, permissions, aircraft availability, and other operational factors, the final outcome of a cancellation or disruption may vary depending on the circumstances of the booking.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after the required booking information has been received, availability has been confirmed, and the applicable payment has been received.

Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the specific service, package, charter, travel date, and booking terms communicated to the customer at the time of confirmation.

2. Customer-Initiated Cancellation

If a customer cancels a confirmed booking, cancellation charges may apply.

The applicable refund will depend on:

  • Type of service booked
  • Date of cancellation
  • Scheduled travel date
  • Amount already paid
  • Administrative or processing charges
  • Non-refundable charges, where applicable
  • Third-party charges, where applicable
  • Specific terms communicated at the time of booking

Customers should contact Safar Air Holidays Services Pvt. Ltd. as soon as possible if they need to cancel their booking.

3. Cancellation of Char Dham & Do Dham Packages

Pilgrimage helicopter services, including Char Dham Yatra and Do Dham Yatra, are subject to operational and weather conditions.

Cancellation and refund terms for pilgrimage packages may differ from those applicable to private helicopter charters or other services.

The cancellation conditions communicated with the customer’s confirmed package or booking shall apply.

4. Weather-Related Cancellation

Helicopter flights may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled because of adverse weather conditions.

These conditions may include:

  • Heavy rain
  • Snowfall
  • Fog
  • Poor visibility
  • Strong winds
  • Unsafe flying conditions
  • Unfavourable conditions at the destination or helipad

Where a flight cannot operate because of weather or related safety considerations, the company may offer rescheduling or an applicable refund/adjustment in accordance with the specific booking terms and operational circumstances.

5. Cancellation Due to Safety or Operational Reasons

Safar Air Holidays Services Pvt. Ltd. may cancel, delay, modify, or reschedule a flight where necessary for passenger safety or operational reasons.

This may include:

  • Aircraft technical requirements
  • Aircraft availability
  • Air traffic restrictions
  • Government or regulatory directions
  • Helipad restrictions
  • Airspace restrictions
  • Operational limitations
  • Other circumstances affecting safe flight operations

In such circumstances, the company will determine the appropriate rescheduling or refund option based on the circumstances and applicable booking terms.

6. Force Majeure

The company shall not be responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include:

  • Natural disasters
  • Extreme weather
  • Landslides
  • Government restrictions
  • Civil disturbances
  • Airspace closures
  • Airport or helipad closures
  • Regulatory restrictions
  • Other unforeseen events

Any refund or rescheduling arising from such circumstances will be handled according to the applicable booking terms and circumstances of the event.

7. Rescheduling

Customers may request a change to their travel date or other booking details.

Rescheduling is subject to:

  • Availability
  • Aircraft capacity
  • Weather and operational conditions
  • Route permissions
  • Applicable charges
  • The terms of the original booking

A rescheduling request does not guarantee that the requested date or time will be available.

8. No-Show

If a passenger does not report for the scheduled flight or fails to appear within the required reporting time, the booking may be treated as a no-show.

A no-show may result in the loss of the booking amount or applicable cancellation charges, subject to the specific terms of the booking.

Passengers are therefore advised to arrive at the designated reporting location within the time communicated by the company.

9. Late Arrival

If a passenger arrives late and misses the scheduled flight, the company may not be able to hold the aircraft or delay the departure.

Any rescheduling or refund in such circumstances will be subject to availability and the applicable booking terms.

10. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method or another method communicated by the company.

The time required for the refund to reach the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider, bank, or financial institution.

Any applicable deductions, cancellation charges, processing fees, or non-refundable amounts may be deducted before the refund is issued.

11. Partial Refunds

Where only part of a booking or package is cancelled, unused services may be eligible for a refund depending on the applicable booking conditions.

Refunds are not automatically guaranteed for unused portions of a package where the services were reserved, allocated, or otherwise subject to non-refundable charges.

12. Third-Party Services

Where a booking includes services provided by third parties, including accommodation, transportation, ground handling, or other travel arrangements, those services may be subject to separate cancellation and refund policies.

Any third-party cancellation charges may be deducted from the amount refundable to the customer.

13. Refund for Unused Services

If a passenger voluntarily chooses not to use a service after the booking has been confirmed, a refund will be considered according to the applicable cancellation terms.

Simply choosing not to travel does not automatically entitle the customer to a full refund.

The request may require:

15. Important Notice

The cancellation and refund terms applicable to an individual booking may vary depending on the service purchased.

Customers are advised to carefully review the applicable terms before making payment.
